Unbelievable that this has been the top feature request for
years
with no updates from Framer on making it happenY

Have clients requesting this feature over and over again. Please ship it!

I would like to suggest that this idea be expanded into User Accounts / Memberships to protect those pages / etc.

Spyros Georgiou There's been no response on this from Framer for over 3 years via the original (and most requested) thread about this on Feature Requests.

I hope they add this soon

As someone who just had 2 of her case studies stolen, I really would prefer to have the pages locked instead of the whole site.

Urgent: Custom password protection per page + default password page

Hi Framer team,
As a creative director and brand strategist, I often deliver sensitive film and campaign material to clients through Framer pages. However, the current password protection options are limited and don’t yet support real-world delivery needs.
I’d love to request two urgently needed features:
1. Custom password protection per page — the ability to set a unique password for each delivery or client page (e.g. /client-x-delivery, /film-review-today), not just a global site password.
2. A clean default password page — something native and styled to match the site, so I don’t have to hack my way through overlays or hidden states.
Right now, the available workarounds are clunky and insecure. I want to keep delivering high-end content on Framer, but this is becoming a blocker for my workflow.
To be transparent:
If this feature isn’t on the near-term roadmap, I’ll have to move to other platforms like Squarespace or Webflow — even though I love Framer’s flow, look and feel.
Please let me know if this is being worked on or how I can help prioritize it. Happy to share specific use cases or jump on a call.
Thanks so much,
Marc
