I am furious that you added an unhideable Agent tab! I don’t want any AI slop in my work. I tried it once; it failed like every other AI slop function in other tools. Please add an option to turn off all AI functions in my interface - Especially prominent sidebar in the CMS tab. This was a step backward in every way of using your product. Also, the removal of the CMS button for one click—whose idea was this?!
Thanks.

At the very least, Styles should be the default! So sick of having to switch over to Styles any time I change pages or open components.

Please allow the option to switch off the AI agent or at least hide it. Why is it also the default menu? I hate having to switch back to the Style menu every time I move around my project.

Would definitely LOVE to see a setting to switch off the AI agent or hide it at least - I also really don't like that it's the default sidebar menu - obviously I'd rather have the Style tab as the default!

Agreed, this is super annoying and makes working on a laptop screen much much worse

PLEASE make Styles be the default page again. Framer is basically unusable due to the frustration it causes having to constantly switch back to Styles every time I go to a new Page. I love having ChatGPT help me with my website, but it shouldn't override Styles which is literally the most important tab that should always be open by default!!!!! I will not be using Framer until this is fixed, not because I don't like AI, but because it's a terrible user-experience change.

Please make the agent tab invisible immediately!!!

I work in the CMS for hours. Meanwhile, I don't need the agent. It permanently takes up horizontal space and worsens the overview. Please give us a simple toggle to show and hide the agent panel. It can't be that you are forced to give up an entire column from the already limited space on the right to the new AI feature. Not all people are huge fans of AI and don't use it. You must respect that.

New to Framer, and this is already making me despise the user interface. The agent credits return so little value that I don't plan on using it. Why are my styles auto hidden every single time I add a new component? Certainly the user should fully control which panels are visible at any given time? When I click on any design element, I should be able to immediately see the properties, not an inactive chat log.

I wanted to switch from Webflow to Framer for two reasons: webflow decided to lay off a bunch of people in favor of going AI first; and I wanted a European product so I wasn't beholden to yet another US tech firm. The decision to make the AI agent something that can neither be disabled nor hidden is not only disappointing, but anti-consumer. It's clear that the consumer is widely anti-AI, or at the least wants the option to enable/disable it for their own needs. A company forcing something that the user doesn't want, and can't disable is pathetic.

I opted for Framer as a European CMS and do you include horrible AI companies? 1- Give us the ability to deactivate AI 2- Make deals with companies that are more ethical than Open IA and Anthropic, basically, it's hard to do worse!

Toggle visibility is not much to ask for.
