Currently, Framer serves uploaded assets using hashed CDN filenames, which exposes technical file names to end users when downloading PDFs or brochures.
Example:
Current:
Xa3sefKju9k27aKwPKPokesAmo.pdf
Desired:
Company-Brochure.pdf
This is especially important for:
  • Real estate brochures
  • Investment decks
  • Media kits
  • Press kits
  • Lead magnets
  • Client-facing downloadable assets
It would be great to have:
  • a custom "Download Filename" field in the Download component
or
  • asset settings to define the downloadable filename
This would improve branding, professionalism, and user experience for downloadable resources.
