Add Static Files to All Paid Plans

I think it's outrageous that adding static files, like robots.txt, is cut off from Basic plans. It's no different than adding custom code blocks to my project and doesn't add any additional strain to Framer's system.
We absolutely need the ability to add further protections from data scraping as AI use scales up. I used to be able to add custom files, it's unacceptable to remove features from paid plans and hide them in more expensive tiers.

Hi, good morning!
I'd like to provide some feedback regarding file management, specifically the ability to edit the
robots.txt
and llms.txt
files. At the moment, this functionality requires upgrading to the Pro plan, which costs €30/month (€360/year). I'm currently on the Basic '24 plan at €180/year.
I'm a solo user and have been using Framer almost since the beginning, mainly for my personal portfolio. I only manage one website, with no team members, and I make occasional updates to the CMS rather than frequent or complex changes.
Because of this, upgrading to the Pro plan just to access file management feels quite disproportionate for my use case. I'd be happy to pay a little extra for this functionality, but doubling the annual cost of my plan just to edit these files doesn't feel reasonable for a single-user portfolio.
I'd really encourage you to consider making file management available as an add-on or as a feature that can be enabled on lower-tier plans.
Especially in the current AI era, having control over files like
robots.txt
and llms.txt
is becoming increasingly important for how websites are discovered, crawled, and understood by search engines and AI systems. I think opening up this functionality could actually be a great trigger for existing users to adopt it without necessarily forcing them into a much more expensive plan.Just something worth considering. Thanks!
